At the heart of Esalen are its workshops, bringing in global leaders to share their wisdom and offer transformational experiences for our guests. We are becoming more aware that there is also an interest for outside organizations to host conferences of their own making on site here at Esalen. We’ve created a process to offer a select few organizations the opportunity to do this. Please read the following information carefully to determine if applying to host a conference at Esalen is right for you.

Expectations to be aware of:

  • Please note: Workshops and Esalen-curated events will take priority when scheduling each year. This means very few dates will be available for outside conferences. Flexibility in your schedule will be key and a spot is not guaranteed.
  • Conferences may be booked:
    • Friday - Sunday (3 day/2 night)
    • Monday - Friday (5 day/4 night)
    • Monday - Sunday (7 day/6 night)

We will not allow exceptions to these time frames as this ensures the day to day functioning of Esalen’s regular schedule is accommodated.

  • A copy of your organization’s schedule must be provided no later than one month prior to your visit. Your programming will need to follow an Esalen curated schedule to accommodate meal times and Healing Arts Services.
  • Full payment is expected regardless of participant cancellations or not fully booking.
  • All transport to/from Esalen will be the responsibility of the host organization.

If you feel that your organization’s needs can still be met, please answer the following questions and submit your request to host a conference at Esalen. One of our leads will be in touch soon regarding your application.
